Where can I find my Tax Identification number?

The U.S. Taxpayer Identification Number may be found on several documents, including tax returns and forms filed with the IRS, and in the case of an SSN, on a social security card issued by the Social Security Administration.

What does legal entity type mean?

Legal entities are the various structures under which you may form a business: these include S corporations and C corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships, trusts, nonprofits, associations, and so on. Most of these may also be formed under a general type of legal entity known as a Limited Liability Company (LLC).  A legal entity is any company or organization that has legal rights and responsibilities, including tax filing.

How do I save and finish later?

At the bottom of each page is a “Save and come back later” link.  It will save all progress on your application.  You will then receive an email with the link to your application.  To go back into your application, click the link, log in, and it will take you to your dashboard.  The pending application will be under “Incomplete Applications”. Click Continue to take you back to where you left off.
