Lanie Gardner, Community President for First Southern National Bank in Muhlenberg County will be recognized as the 2018-2019 Distinguished Alumna of Madisonville Community College during their commencement ceremony.
Lanie Gardner, Community President for First Southern National Bank in Muhlenberg County will be recognized as the 2018-2019 Distinguished Alumna of Madisonville Community College during their commencement ceremony. Gardner graduated from MCC with an Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration.
Lanie began her tenure with First Southern National Bank in 2000 and now serves as Community President of branches in Greenville and Central City.
The commencement ceremony will be held on Friday, May 10, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts on the North Campus.
“We have another outstanding graduating class heading into great careers or onto to transfer at a four-year college or university.” MCC President Dr. Cindy Kelley said. “It is a wonderful opportunity as well to recognize our distinguished alumna, Lanie Gardner, for her extensive service to our region.”
Lanie was also recently named Citizen of the Year by the Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce based upon the impact she made through volunteering, advocacy, community building, and business leadership.
