After 40-years of service, Cassie Reynolds retired on November 30, 2018 from the Central City branch. While her tenure with First Southern National Bank began in 2015 when First National Bank of Muhlenberg was acquired, Cassie had over thirty years of banking experience.
What were the biggest changes you saw in the banking industry during your tenure?
The shift to digital. You can now bank from home, or be in any part of the country or world utilizing mobile apps or online banking.
What did you like best about working at First Southern National Bank?
I loved our morning meetings and devotion time together. I also loved the overall team spirit felt within the branch and the entire company. I love that I could be myself.
What advice would you tell your self in your twenties, as you were entering your career at FSNB?
I would have told myself to never be afraid to ask for help and to realize that I didn’t know everything. You always have teammates that have lot more experience than you. Never be afraid to have fun and know that it is your job to serve others.
What will you miss most about working at First Southern National Bank?
The people. My bank family (co-workers), and the clients that I had the pleasure of serving every day.
What do you hope to accomplish during your retirement?
I want to take this time to really enjoy life, as well as whatever plans God will show for me. I want to spend more time with my family, especially my grandkids.
What would you tell someone who is thinking about a career at First Southern National Bank?
It’s an awesome place to work and will further your career.
Thanks for sharing your wisdom and guidance to us Cassie! We wish you the very best in your retirement and your First Southern National Bank family misses you!
