First Southern Bancorp, established in 1988, is the parent company of First Southern National Bank, UTG, Inc. and other business ventures.

Adrienne Correll is founder and President of Appalachian Music Project, a non-profit organization created in honor of her late husband. She holds a BA from Stetson University. Adrienne has two children and resides in Anchorage, Kentucky.

Alex Keltner joined the First Southern team in 1994. He has served in many roles at the bank during his tenure including Community President, Chief Banking Officer and was named President of First Southern National Bank in June 2018. Alex graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC) in 2014. He and his wife, Kelly, live in Russellville, Kentucky.

Alma was elected as Beaver Dam City Commissioner when she was only 24 years old. She became the first woman and the first African American to hold elected office in Ohio County, Kentucky. She was among the first three women, and the first African American admitted to the Owensboro Rotary Club. Alma previously owned Higher Ground Consulting, a Kentucky Certified Female Owned Business. HGC was designed to provide EEO and Diversity Sensitivity Training to management and non-management staff in Kentucky and Indiana. She founded the Alma Randolph Charitable Foundation in 1993.

An original Board member, Doug has served many years as part of First Southern National Bank’s executive management team and currently serves as Senior Vice President and Central Lending Group Manager. Doug is Vice President and Vice Chairman of First Southern Bancorp and also serves as Vice President of UTG, Inc. He and his family are members of Indian Hills Christian Church in Danville, Kentucky.

Jess Correll is a founding member and has served as President and Chairman of First Southern Bancorp since 1987. He is Chairman of the Board and CEO of UTG, Inc. Jess also serves on the boards of Friends of the Good Samaritans in India, National Christian Foundation, The River Foundation and previously served on the Centre College Board of Trustees.

Kevin Attkisson is a founder and Managing Partner of Manna Capital Partners. Kevin was formerly the Managing Partner of Bluegrass Financial Holdings, a capital management firm investing in real estate, privately held companies and publicly traded stocks. Prior to Bluegrass Financial, Kevin was a Managing Partner of Bluegrass Global Assets Fund, L.P., a commodity pool operator that invested in global futures and commodities with a heavy focus on metals. Kevin also spent 10 years as Chief Executive Officer of an alarm technology business he co-founded in Chicago. Kevin is a multi-time National Champion Road cyclist having competed against some of the top professional riders in the U.S. Kevin is married to Lindsay, and they have two children, Gracie and Wells.

Michael has served as Chief Financial Officer at Modern Distributors in Somerset, KY since 2010. He also serves as a board member of Tru-Check, Inc. and is the founder and chairman of the Modern Fund charitable organization in Somerset. Michael worked previously in public accounting, earning his CPA license in 2006 while working with Dean Dorton Allen Ford in Lexington, KY. He holds an MBA from the University of Kentucky and BA in Business Management and Accounting from Transylvania University. He and his wife Tara have three children and are members of Southside Church of Christ in Somerset.

Tommy has served in many capacities with First Southern since 1989. He is currently Vice President of First Southern Bancorp and was named Chief Executive Officer of First Southern National Bank in November 2009. Tommy is an active member of Elk Spring Valley Baptist Church in Monticello, Kentucky and his wife, Renee, is co-founder of the H.E.L.P. Pregnancy Center in Wayne County.

Wes Perry is the owner of S.E.S. Investments, LTD and managing partner of PBEX, LLC, both entities are oil and gas investments/companies. He is also Director of Genie Energy (GNE NYSE) and Viper Energy (VNOM NASDAQ). Wes has a BS degree in Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He served as the Mayor of the city of Midland, Texas from 2007 to 2015 and served as a director on the UTG, Inc. board from 2001 to 2013. He is Trustee of the Abel-Hangar Foundation and President of the Milagros Foundation.
