Wilmore, KY – First Southern National Bank and the Taste of Jessamine crew wrapped up its 25th year raising a total of $31,500. They were able to donate $10,500 to three local charitable organizations: Family Food Center, Simply Serving, and Adventure Serve Ministries.

More than 1,000 visitors attended the event last month. Everyone enjoyed an evening of food, fun, and fellowship while they worked together to raise awareness and support for these local organizations. They were able to sample dishes prepared by local chefs, government officials, and representatives from local businesses, community churches, banks, and local restaurants.

“The 25th Annual Taste of Jessamine was a wonderful success,” said Kelli Pile, branch manager for the First Southern National Bank Nicholasville location. “It’s amazing to be a part of such a large showing of fellowship in our community. The event is not only fun but it’s productive! We were able to raise over $31,000 to go to three organizations doing amazing work in our very own community. I feel very lucky to work for First Southern, which stands behind and supports our staff by sponsoring this event. This year exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to even greater success next year.”
