WILMORE, KY – First Southern National Bank invites the community to come and enjoy an evening of food, fun, and fellowship at the 26th Annual Taste of Jessamine on Friday, May 10 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
The Taste of Jessamine is an annual event where attendees can sample dishes prepared by chefs and aspiring foodies from in and around Jessamine County. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Family Food Center, the Senior Center of Jessamine County, and Lord’s Legacy Life Ministries.
There are many ways to make a difference, including attending the event, preparing a dish, sponsoring a tabletop, donating an auction item, or making a financial donation.
SHOW OFF YOUR INNER CHEF
In past events, there have been as many as 1,000 people to attend. Participants are not expected to provide attendees with a whole serving, only a sample. A table, table tent, plates, bowls, drinks, and utensils are provided. Each participant will have around a 4-foot section to serve their dishes. Since space is limited, each area will only accommodate two volunteers per section.

Tabletop sponsorships are available for $350, which include a table tent, program, emcee recognition, admission for two, and business card placement.
DONATE MONEY OR AN AUCTION ITEM
Each year, there is an impressive collection of silent and live auction items – all donated by local and regional folks. All items are welcome, whether it is a gift certificate, gift basket, or something from a local retail store.
The most straightforward way to support is a monetary donation. Regardless of the amount, our local recipients will benefit.
The event will take place at RJ Corman Hangar 2. Tickets are $15 each for adults, $10 each for children ages 6-12, and admission is free for children ages 5 and under. Tickets may be purchased from First Southern National Bank in Nicholasville, by phone at 859-885-1222, or at the door on the day of the event.
