Has your card been lost or stolen?

To report a lost or stolen ATM or Debit card, please call your local branch. After hours, please call 844-202-5333 and choose option 1.

Mastercard ID Theft Protection comes with your Mastercard at no cost. To activate your ID Theft Protection benefits, visit mastercardus.idprotectiononline.com and enter your card number to start the registration process.

What new benefits do I receive with my new Mastercard?
Mastercard offers many new benefits including – ID Theft Protection for every First Class, Traditional and Online Checking cardholder, plus Global Service, Airport Concierge, Extended Warranty, Satisfaction Guarantee, Priceless Cities Offers & Experiences and Contactless Payments. What benefits stay the same?
While you will enjoy a number of new benefits with your new Debit Mastercard, there are many perks that will remain the same. All First Class, Traditional and Online Checking cardholders will enjoy – worldwide acceptance, EMV chip technology, cash access at ATMs worldwide, surcharge-free ATM locations at AlphaLink Alliance member banks, and zero liability protection for unauthorized purchases.

If I have multiple accounts, will each account receive a new card?
Yes. Each personal checking account with a Visa® debit card linked to it will be reissued a new First Southern National Bank Traditional Debit Mastercard®.

Can I get a different colored card?
The new card colors are determined by the account type. With appropriate approval, customers who switch account types may keep their existing card. For example, if a customer is an Online Checking customer and upgrades to First Class, it is possible for them to keep their green card to avoid issuing a new card. Both green cards and black cards offer the same customer benefits.

Will my card information change?
Yes. You will receive cards with new card numbers and new expiration dates that are different from your Visa debit card.

Do I need to call to activate my new debit card when I receive it?
There’s no need to call to activate as cards will be mailed activated.

Can I still get a new debit card instantly at my local branch?
Yes. Many of our locations will have instant-issue card printers just like they do today.

Will my PIN remain the same?
For security, your PIN will also be changed. You will receive it following the card. You can also change your PIN number in Digital Banking, at an ATM or at a First Southern branch.

What do I do with my old Visa debit card?
You should destroy your old card or bring to your local branch for disposal. To ensure there is no lapse in access to their account, you can immediately begin using your new Debit Mastercard even if your Visa debit card has not expired.

I use my card for automatic bill pay. What do I need to do?
The bank has enrolled in Mastercard’s Automatic Biller Updater program, however not all merchants participate. It is recommended you update your billing information for automatic payments so there are no disruptions in payments being made in a timely matter.
